The colors work very well with each other and they look like they are actually vibrating against each other. I love the use of the solid lines and shapes because they really move your eye around. If you made the pattern on the diamond shapes a bit smaller, I feel like it would be even better. Great job!
Your color choice and composition is fantastic because they really make the edges vibrate. I think the contrast between the checkered pattern against the plus sign looking pattern in the background make the edges vibrate the most out of all of the elements of your design! I would recommend using a higher saturated yellow because it would pop a bit more, or changing the border from rectangular to a diamond shape!
Your pattern's vibration is pretty clear and works well. It might also be cool if you placed the background pattern inside the shapes but made it a slightly different hue. I think it would have a funky effect to the eye.
